System

  • A, B tournaments – round system of 9-11 rounds
  • C, D tournaments – Swiss system of 9 rounds
  • E tournament – Swiss system of 7 rounds

Criteria used for ranking and prizes distribution

  • A, B tournaments – 1. number of points, 2. S.-B., 3. mutual game, 4. lot, prizes are not divided
  • C, D and E tournaments - 1. number of points, 2. Buchholz, 3. middle Buchholz, 4. average ELO of rivals, 5. lot, financial prizes are distributed according to Hort system among such number of players which corresponds to number of advertised prizes

Rate of the game

  • A, B, C, D tournaments 2 x 1,5 h + 30s/move, waiting time is 1 h in case of late arrival
  • E tournament 2 x 15 min.

Accommodation

Hotel Sigma *** (the playing hall is situated here)

  • 2-bed rooms with a shower, WC, phone, TV and satellite
  • price including breakfast 48 EUR/room and night, if only 1 person occupies the room, 32 EUR/room and night is charged
  • 2-bed apartment 84 EUR/room and night, charge for extra bed 8 EUR

  • 2-bed rooms, a shower and WC common for 2 rooms

small football tournament, trip to the Svaty Kopecek Hill (the Holy Hill) –ZOO and the Basilica Minor of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, common sightseeing tour of Olomouc, in case of interest a trip to caves of Javoricko, to the castle of Bouzov and the brewery of Litovel

Possibilities of spending free time:

the city of Olomouc is a regional capital with more than 100 000 inhabitants, with the wide opportunities of social and cultural self-realization. In the city and in the vicinity there is vast range of sights: historical centre (the Holy Trinity Column is the sight of UNESCO), Svaty Kopecek Hill, open-air museum, caves, ZOO, castles and chateaux etc.

Starting fee and accommodation payments

will be collected during the registration in cash in EUR (at the amount given in these regulations), CZK (in the rate 25:1 compared to prices given in these regulations) or USD or by debit and credit cards: Eurocard/Master Card, Maestro, VISA, VISA Electron, JCB or Diners Club.

(Registration for the tournament in active chess and the blitz tournament will be accepted only on the day of the launching of the given tournament.)

  • 5% discount on accommodation price and starting fee in 2nd start in the tournament held within the frame of this year CZECH TOUR Series, or 10% in 3rd start, 15% in 4th start etc. (only starts from all tournaments for individuals played with rating min. 2 x 1,5h + 30s/move are counted)
